Ayrshire Media Services was established almost 20 years ago with the publication of our first free local community paper, “Troon’s Going Out” which is distributed to 7,000 homes and businesses in Troon.
In addition to “Troon’s Going Out” we now have another two monthly publications - “Prestwick’s Going Out” which is distributed to 8,000 homes and businesses in Prestwick and “Alloway & Doonfoot’s Going Out” which goes out to 5,000 addresses in Alloway, Doonfoot and Seafield. We also publish three Calendars, ten annual publications, we source display advertising at local events and provide a leaflet distribution service in Troon, Prestwick and Alloway & Doonfoot.

Almost every shop and business in both towns will be given a supply to pass on to their customers along with local hotels, guest houses, caravan parks, Ayr bus depot, libraries and visitor centres including Culzean Castle and the Burns Centre.

15,000 copies published in early summer and distributed throughout the local towns and villages including Kilmarnock, Cumnock, Galston, Darvel, Newmilns and Stewarton along with local hotels, guest houses, caravan parks, Kilmarnock bus depot, libraries and visitor centres including the Galleon Centre Castle and the Dick Institute. Almost every shop and business will be given a supply to pass on to their customers.
15,000 copies published in spring. Distributed to 6,500 homes and businesses in Troon. To ensure the guide reaches visitors to the area we also supply local hotels, guest houses, golf courses, caravan parks, the ferry terminal, railway station and the local library.
2,000 copies published for the Ayrshire Golf Association’s Annual Dinner and distributed to all Ayrshire golf clubs.
9,000 copies of this title are produced to coincide with the Prestwick Promenade Celebrations. This is the official programme for the event. Distributed to 8,000 homes and businesses in Prestwick in advance of the event and distributed at the Prestwick Prom.
